Starshine Support has a range of services that can help our clients fulfill their potential and shine even brighter. We are dedicated to providing high quality services and ensuring participants receive the best support in a safe, non-discriminatory environment. Our services include assistance with self-care activities, accessing community, social and recreational activities, transport, short term accommodation/ respite care and assistance with household tasks and personal domestic activities. All of our services are covered under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) funding and can be provided at no additional costs to our clients.

Assistance with Self-Care

Starshine Support offers assistance with all elements of self-care, assisting with or supervising personal tasks of daily life to enable the client to live as autonomously as possible. Our range of services are not limited in this field.

Access Community, Social and Recreational Activities

Starshine Support offers a range of social and recreational activities for participants to engage in and feel part of the community. We help to overcome any barriers clients may experience in accessing community events and groups they are interested in attending. We also provide a range of social and fun activities for clients to enjoy in groups, making friends and reducing social isolation.

Transport

Accessing transport allows participants to access community and social events. We can offer transport to and from medical appointments, therapies, community events, shopping and other recreational activities you desire.

Short Term Accommodation / Respite

Starshine Support has a range of short-term accommodation and respite care options available. Sometimes, just having a change of scene and spending a few weeks away from home can be of immense value to people, offering a mental ‘reset’ with new sensory and mental stimulation. The short-term accommodation/respite care encourages social and personal growth while in a safe environment.

Assistance with Household Tasks and Personal Domestic Activities

House cleaning, changing and cleaning of bedding, laundry, creating healthy meals and all the domestic activities that make a household run smoothly can be accomplished with the help of domestic care staff from Starshine Support. You can access the services on a daily, weekly, or fortnightly basis, depending on your needs.
